Top 5 Apps For Restoration Contractors Or Project Managers

I know that each and every Restoration Contractor has their own preference or “Hacks” that help them be more efficient on and off the Job site.
For myself….I’ve been at this for a while now and have culled through a lot of old and new technology as it becomes available. (As you would be able to see if you looked at the home screen of my iPhone and iPad)

Here Is My List In No Particular Order

  1. Dragon Dictation by Nuance

    dragon dictation
This app allows me to dictate my scope and send it to My assistant as a text file so they can type it into an acceptable format and sent to those requesting it.
  2. Xactimate by Xactware

    xactimate mobile

Xactimate is the industry standard used by most insurance companies for scoping and pricing out losses

3) Dropbox

dropbox mobile

I use Dropbox on a daily basis for uploading photos and documents which are accessible to everyone who is given the link or password to the files.

4) Notes for iPhone

This app I use every day for lists, notes, explaining details on job sites for the techs or adjusters. The new IOS update brought in a lot of great features so definitely check it out or something  similar to android and windows OS

5) Tiny Scanner by Appxy

This little app is great for capturing and sending Work authorizations and completion certificate documents while on the road.

This is added on to my list as I’ve now started to use Dash by NextGear solutions for the data and CRM¬†software. This is an industry standard program used by Restoration Contractors

So there You have a few of my most used mobile apps that I utilize on a daily basis that help me be more efficient.

Thanks for taking the time to check out this post and I’ll see you in the next one.
